As a parent of two children with special needs, I use boardmaker materials at home. This group will be a place to share materials made for a home environment.

Here is where we can share boards, icons, schedules, etc. for implentation of SCERTS! Why re-create it if we've already made it?

Sports related boards and activities Hockey, Soccer, Baseball, Golf, Softball, Football, Basketball, Tennis, Running

This group will contain different boards and activities dealing with all types of animals!

The 'Hello' group is is an opportunity to share resources that develop and support communication skills. The group supports the National Year of Communication 'Hello' campaign run by the Communication Trust. The campaign aims to increase understanding of how important it is for children and young people to develop good communication skills.

This group is for Parents and professionals to discuss ways to make our children/adults lives more safe as well as to discuss what resources is needed to give them a voice to tell us when something isn't right. I am hoping we can brain storm ways to make communication boards that will reach all levels of communication needs instead of just a one size fits all for all their communicatin needs not just a few or just enough to get by. I believe we have the power together to be more creative and think outside of the box when it comes to giving our children/adults stronger voices.
